Despite denial by open borders advocates, illegal aliens add to the crime problem in the United States. The stories below give some recent examples.

Maryland Sanctuary County Twice Freed Illegal Alien MS-13 Gang Member Accused of Trying to Rape 15-Year-Old

An illegal alien MS-13 Gang member accused of attempting to rape a 15-year-old girl in May was twice freed into the community by the sanctuary jurisdiction of Montgomery County, Maryland, Breitbart News has learned.

Erick Benitez-Amaya, a 24-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, was arrested in May after he allegedly tried to rape a 15-year-old girl and would have been successful if not for FaceTime, according to a report by ABC 7 News’ Kevin Lewis.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency confirmed to Breitbart News that Benitez-Amaya is an illegal alien who had been previously released into the community by Montgomery County sanctuary officials despite ICE placing two detainers on him for previous crimes.

Montgomery County is notorious for its sanctuary policies that have allowed many criminal illegal aliens to walk free out of jail.

Benitez-Amaya has been charged with second-degree rape, third-degree sexual offense, and second-degree assault and now faces up to 40 years in prison. He is scheduled for a jury trial in November.

Egyptian man charged in Boston rabbi stabbing overstayed student visa, was in US illegally: ICE

ICE has requested to take custody of Khaled Awad once criminal proceedings in Boston are finished.

An Egyptian man who is accused of stabbing a rabbi outside of a Jewish day school in Boston on Thursday overstayed his student visa and lost his legal status on May 14, Immigration and Customs Enforcement told Fox News.

Khaled Awad, 24, allegedly approached Rabbi Shlomo Noginski with a gun and demanded his car keys, at which point Noginski ran across the street to a park, where Awad stabbed him in the arm multiple times.

He entered the United States two years ago for college, but his legal status recently lapsed.

"Khaled Awad, 24, a citizen of Egypt, entered the United States on a student visa in August 2019," a spokesman for ICE told Fox News. "However, he failed to stay enrolled as required by law, resulting in a loss of legal status in the U.S on May 14, 2021."

One of Awad's former friends at the University of South Florida, Eric Valiente, told CBS Boston that Awad was "violent" and "anti-Semitic."

"He started becoming violent," Valiente told the local news outlet. "He was very much anti-Semitic."
