The Secret Ballot

If you talk about Trump to some Democrat voters, you might get the idea they are wrestling with the idea of voting for Trump and other Republicans this year. Family pressures, decades of being a loyal Democrat, friends who would disown them if they knew they would betray their party. That’s a struggle! 

Yet they recognize things have been worse under Biden and Harris. They know inflation is robbing them, they want to stop the illegals and crime, get lower grocery and gas prices, and they want the good times back again. 

If you get that sense, reassure them that their vote is secret. Nobody will ever know. And to keep the peace with family and friends, they can tell everyone that “of course I voted for Kamala and all the Democrats.” 

Get Out The Vote!

Start calling and texting all of your family and friends. Post on social media. Urge them to vote early. Most states offer early voting up to a few days before election day. Check the dates for your state: usvotefoundation.org/early-voting-dates 

And for the final few days, urge everyone to vote on election day. You can even offer rides to the polls. 

We are so close in the polling that the election may be won by a relative handful of votes in each state.
